Together with Volkswagen R and Fotografiska Berlin, IFA invites emerging image-makers to explore how technology shapes our world. The “Art Shapes The Future” Open Call welcomes photography, video and AI-generated images, with selected artists featured during IFA Berlin.
The future is not something distant — it is being shaped right now. Together with Volkswagen R and Fotografiska Berlin, we invite emerging image-makers to submit work that looks ahead: photography, video or AI-generated images that explore how technology shapes our world and what it means to be human within it. 3 selected artists will each receive €1,500 in prize money, a presentation at the Creator Hub during IFA Berlin (4–8 September) and features across the channels of IFA Berlin, Volkswagen R and Fotografiska Berlin.
Submissions open 1 June – 20 July 2026.
